Banqueting/ Restaurant Manager – Boutique Hotel – Umhlanga

Join our client’s dedicated team and contribute to the success of their intimate restaurant with a seating capacity of up to 60 people.
Position: Banqueting/Restaurant Manager
Location: Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal
Salary: R9000 – R12000

Description:
Oversee the operations of the restaurant, specializing in banqueting events.
Manage and coordinate banquets, ensuring flawless execution.
Provide exceptional service to guests, exceeding their expectations.
Train and lead restaurant staff to maintain high service standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Handle reservations, inquiries, and customer feedback.
Maintain inventory and control costs to meet budgetary requirements.
Uphold health and safety regulations in the restaurant.
Contribute ideas for menu planning and enhancements.
Ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Requirements:
Previous experience in banqueting and restaurant management.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Knowledge of banquet operations and event coordination.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
