Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Lodge Manager for their luxury 4**** lodge in the Hoedspruit area. This role will serve as a 2IC to the Lodge Manager, overseeing multiple accommodation offerings. The position comes with a competitive salary of R20,000 and includes a live-in package. The start date is July.

Our client, a prestigious 4-star luxury lodge in the picturesque Hoedspruit area, is looking for a dynamic and professional Assistant Lodge Manager. This role is crucial in supporting the Lodge Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of the lodge. With multiple accommodation offerings, the lodge provides a serene and high-end experience for its guests. As the Assistant Lodge Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the lodge’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lodge Manager in daily operations and overall management of the lodge.
• Oversee guest services and ensure a superior guest experience.
• Manage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in budget management and financial reporting.
• Participate in marketing and promotional activities to boost lodge occupancy.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury lodge setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in hospitality management software.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to live on-site and adapt to the lodge’s schedule.
• Immediate availability for a July start.
