We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Food and Beverage / Service Manager to join our luxury hotel on the Cape Town Atlantic Seaboard. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of food and beverage service are delivered to our esteemed guests.

Description:

• Operational Support: Assist in overseeing daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service quality and guest satisfaction.
• Staff Management: Support in recruiting, training, and supervising food and beverage staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all dining areas and service points.
• Guest Relations: Address guest enquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing stock levels, placing orders, and conducting regular inventory checks to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
• Financial Oversight: Support budget management, cost control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability while maintaining service excellence.
• Event Coordination: Aid in planning and executing special events, banquets, and functions, ensuring all guest requirements are met to the highest standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
