Admin Manager: Sports department – Lifestyle Estate – Sandton

An exciting opportunity to premium lifestyle venue and estate in Sandton, managing, overseeing and assisting with all administrative aspects of the Department – (bookings, check-ins, queries, reports, competitions, events, communication, staff records and marketing.)

Duties & Responsibilities
Schedule rosters for all Golf staff for daily operations, ensuring all areas are accounted for. ▪ Manage the overtime and leave schedules of operations staff
Manage the day-to-day bookings process
Checking that Club rules and policies related to bookings has been adhered to and reporting any anomalies to the Department Director
Ensure that staff are trained and have current price lists and rules
Ensure rates charged are correct
Check correct codes are used for billing
Ensure that cash-ups and Day-end processes are completed according to policy
Resolve any reservation, check-in or golf related queries and problems
Assist with group reservations/corporate days and ensure booking requirements are communicated and actioned
Lead the planning and organisation of events
Assist the Social Media and Marketing with designing and preparing posters, and other social media content as well as related documents
Manages and oversees the planning and organising of the Department Diary with the Department Director
Assist with taking minutes at meetings when required
Manages and oversees everything to do with the Ladies Committee and section
Maintaining records of individual and club achievements, including honour boards
Assist the Department Director in creating and maintaining departmental procedures, ensuring these are communicated to the staff, that staff are trained, and policies are adhered to

Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric
Tertiary Qualification in Business Admin/Hospitality or similar is beneficial
Must be computer literate
Customer service skills required – friendly and presentable
Strong organisational-, planning and prioritization skills
Must be self-motivated and an initiator
