Experienced and qualified Sous Chef required for Lodge in Polokwane with 4/5* experience
Please note that if selected you will be required to go through to the Lodge in Limpopo for an interview (only face to face interviews will be held)
The successful candidate would be required to assist with the management of the kitchen together with the executive chef. The candidate will also be required to maintain and implement hygiene standards and assist with stock takes and staff training.
- 1. Minimum of 3 years experience in a Sous chef position in a formal 4/5 star Restaurant /Hotel.
- 2. Formal cooking degree/diploma preferable.
- 3. Experience in running functions of up to 250 pax at a five star level.
- 4. Strong personality that can think on their feet and work under pressure.
- 5. Well spoken and well presented individual.
- 6. Strong leader who have been in charge of employees before.
- 7. Must have grade 12.
- 8. Must be able to work under pressure
- 9. Must be able to create, cost and maintain recipes.
- 10. Must have strong general knowledge of food and beverages
