Candidates will be expected to travel to the Lodge in Limpopo for face to face interviews. No skype interviews will be held
Experienced and qualified Head Chef needed for a 4* Lodge in Limpopo. The successful candidate would be responsible for the overall management of the kitchen. The candidate will also be required to maintain and implement hygiene standards and to take control of stock takes and staff training.
1. Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience in a formal Restaurant / Hotel.
2. Strong personality that can think on their feet and work under pressure.
3. Well spoken and well presented individual.
4. Excellent leadership and management skills
5. Must be creative with an eye for detail
6. Must have excellent administrations skills and must be highly organised
7. Must have grade 12.
8. Formal cooking degree/diploma preferable.
9. Experience in running functions of up to 250 pax
10. Must be able to work under pressure
11. Must be able to create, cost and maintain recipes.
12. Must have strong general knowledge of food and kitchen procedures
